The Infrastructure Group
The Infrastructure Group (TIG) provides service-oriented computing, communications and operations assistance to support the world-class research underway at CSAIL. On the technical side, TIG handles everything from maintaining and monitoring a complex computing infrastructure 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensuring lab members can access cutting-edge computing services. TIG maintains the labâs five data centers, handles space accommodations and event logistics. Additionally, TIG actively promotes CSAIL research to the broader MIT community, reputable news organizations and the general public via a full-range of media relations and communications services.
2018.16.11 10:00: The CSAIL network should be back for you now. We have identified the the cause and have made steps to mitigate the issue. The root source is still being identified, however, so there may be some disruptions while we investigate and resolve.
2018.16.11 08:45: CSAIL Wireless is currently down and we are working to resolve this ASAP. Ethernet is working, so you can plug into the wall for now, or try to find MIT wireless if there is a signal strong enough.
